Caribbean 2022 - Day 20 - Monday 31 Jan

Sea day again. Gorgeous weather so up on deck for a couple of hours, once breakfast is done. 

Usual pre-lunch walk then it’s a break in routine (but not tradition) as we head to Pinnacle for our customary Pinnacle Burger towards the end of a cruise. These should not be undertaken lightly, hence once is plenty, even if one removes the bun. The berries and sabayon are scrummy too. 







So much so we need to hit the decks again afterwards, before heading up to the pool. 

I thoughta few of the wonderful and eclectic artworks might be appropriate for a sea day, so here’s a selection. 










We try a Miami Vice - half strawberry daiquiri and half piña colada - lovely but quite sweet. So that’s a big tick then!!



Later on I try my hand at topless waiting (haha) whilst we have a lovely sunset with our canapés, then we go to watch a second run of one of the Company shows. 





Finally in Pinnacle we are treated to another extraordinary special dinner. Tonight chef Felix’s assistant, chef Añil, has made us the best-ever butter chicken curry - this is soooo good it’s impossible to turn into words, but let’s just say that I have a lot of homework to do now, to even get close to replicating this.
