As before I will probably update every evening, internet permitting, and with only two sea days in three weeks, it's a full itinerary so hopefully there will be plenty to tell. Of course, food and wine will feature highly as usual. Photos can be found on FB here.
We start the day before, and spend a night in Monte Carlo, but sadly won't arrive until late so there won't be any opportunity to sample such delights as the Negresco (iconic Nice hotel) or any of the many world famous names in MC like Cipriani, Alain Ducasse or Joel Robuchon but given the state of the Euro it's probably fortunate for our wallets.
As for the ship, this one is the Sojourn, identical in almost all respects to the Odyssey which we sailed on in 2014. We know this is a great vessel, suiting us in both size and temperament so we have much to look forward to. The ship will be full, but that means 450 people maximum, less than one decks worth on some ships, plus another 330 crew.
